RKM Students Win Prizes At RYLA Camp
Students of Ramakrishna Mission Matric. HS School, T.Nagar, won several prizes at the two-day RYLA camp organised recently by the Rotary Club of Madras Central at Sushil Hari International School at Kelambakkam.
Rotary Youth Leadership Aware (RYLA) is Rotary’s endeavour to inculcate leadership in youth. Various competitions were held to tap the talents of students.
Five schools with 75 students participated in the camp. The themes were personality development and success formula and individual and group talents.
Students of Ramakrishna Mission Matric. HS School participated in the camp and bagged many prizes in the various talent competitions. C.Muthu Veerappan of IX Std. of the school stood first in overall performance and was selected as the Best Rylite Boy. First, second and third best overall performance prizes have been bagged by RKM students, C.Muthu Veerappan, S.Karthik, D.Rubesh and M.Anbazhagan respectively. In the quiz competition also II prizes and I were bagged C.Muthu Veerappan and K.Sarath Kumar respectively.
In dramatics, P.Vinod Kumar, Tanuj Bhatia and Roopesh Nivedit of the school bagged the I and III prizes. In mono acting, the school’s Anbazhagan and Tanuj bagged the I & III prizes.
