MOP Bazaar Draws Good Crowd
MOP Bazaar, organised by the Entrepreneur cell of MOP Vaishnav College for Women, . on Feb. 10 and 11, drew large crowds.
About 60 stalls selling handicrafts, cosmetics, food, etc., put up by the students. The two-day bazaar is an annual event for students to showcase their entrepreneurial skills. Last year’s bazaar fetched around Rs.1.75 lakhs. With students making good profit at each stall, the bazaar has become a much-awaited event for which students begin preparations well in advance.
The best proposals are given cash awards. The bazaar gives hands-on experience to the budding entrepreneurs and motivates them.
