Interactive Session On Visual Effects, Animation
The department of visual communication of Shri. S.S.Shasun Jain College for Women, T.Nagar, organised a lecture-cum-interactive session on ‘visual effects and animation’ by world renowned Ms.Jenny Fulk, executive vice president, production and executive producer, Sony Pictures Image Works, Culver city, USA on Feb. 20.
Students and faculty of visual communication from over 20 city colleges participated.
Ms.Jeene Fulk is currently overseeing the visual effects and animation production of the feature film ‘Ghost rider’, ‘Spider man’ and ‘Beowulf’. She won the best animated short film award in 2002.
The function was organised by the HOD of the department, Ms.Bindu. A portrait of Ms.Jenny Fulk, drawn by Amiradha, first visual communication student of the college, was presented to her.
The visual communication students of the college would undergo their internship in visual effects at Frame Flow India Pvt. Ltd., enabling them to get hands on experience and employability.
