Award For Social Worker
| Mr.A.Dhanasekaran, social worker and general secretary of Ayanavaram Innovators Club and manager of Purasawalkam Co-operative Bank Ltd, Mogappair branch, is actively involved in several social welfare activities for the development and improvement of the Ayanavaram area residents. |
He has conducted various awareness programmes on tree planting, door-to-door garbage segregation, implementation of rainwater harvesting scheme etc. He also conducts regular meetings between the area residents and civic authorities and police officials.
He received the Mahatma Gandhi Award from Mr. Justice Malai Subramaniam for his involvement in social service activities for the improvement of Ayanavaram area for the past one decade.
