Honour For City Doctor
Dr G.S.K. Velu, managing director, Metropolis Health Services, was honored with ‘Excellence Awards 2006’ by Modern Medicare for exceptional efforts and excellence in the healthcare industry.
A jury comprising eminent personalities from the industry including representatives from ASSOCHAM, NABH, Frost and Sullivan, Infomedia and Modern Medicare, adjudged Mr.Velu as “The Entrepreneur of the Year 2006″. The award is given in recognition of individual achievements in organizational growth.
Mr. Anand Rangachary, managing director, Frost & Sullivan, and Mr. Krishna Tewari, GM, Publishing, Infomedia India Ltd., conferred the award on Dr.Velu at Bangalore in the presence of industry stalwarts. Dr.Velu has been a part of Metropolis for seven years and has contributed in more than one way towards the speedy success of the company.
Dr. Velu was recently conferred with ITM Excellence Awards by the ITM University, the only person from the healthcare industry to have been honored with this recognition.
