IT Finishing School RiiiT
The present educational institutions are not equipped much to produce a well-trained IT professionals that immediately suits the industrial requirements. Even students placed in campus recruitment from premier institutions have to undergo a pre-training period before they join the company; This reveals that there is a need for some professional skills such as communication skills, cognitive and behavioral assessments, interpersonal skills, body language for the students apart from technical and academic abilities. IT Finishing School is a supplementary training institute that attempts to groom them to industry expected standards. It plays a pivotal role in bridging gap between industrial requirement and quality talent pool graduating from educational institutions. This institute hosted an interactive session on “Need for IT Finishing Schools in India” at Marina-I Hall, Comfort Inn Marina Towers, near Albert Theatre in Egmore at 12.00 p.m. on 23rd November 2007.
