Vastu And Belief
Vastusastra is the science of buildings. It can be defined as the science of placements.
Vastusastra is a science and it is not attached to any religion. It benefits the people who believe it irrespective of religion and it benefits even those who do not have belief in religion but have belief in vastusastra.
In Bible, there is an illustration for the power of belief.
In a village, there was a chronically sick lady. Her neighbour has advised her that Jesus is in the next village and if she goes there, Jesus may help her to cure her sickness. Accordingly, the sick lady goes to that village and by the time she reaches there, Jesus was moving to another village. The sick lady rushed and touched Jesus’s garment from the back side. Jesus felt that some energy has gone from his body to some one else. Jesus has asked the crowd to inform him who has touched him. The sick lady informed Jesus that she only touched him and also thanked him for curing her. Jesus told her and also the crowd that he has not cured her and her belief has cured her.
In the similar way, vastusastra benefits people who believe it sincerely and follow it.
Life itself is based on belief and if there is no belief, life will become miserable.
Vastusastra can be defined as the science of placements.
As per Vastu principles:-
(a) North-east quadrant is meant for placement of underground water body.
(b) South-east area is meant for providing heat.
(c) South-west area should be dry and heavy
(d) North-west area may be kept cool. In a residential building, this area is meant for guest bedroom or bedroom for girls. In a factory, north-west area is meant for placement of finished goods.
There are some people who do not believe vastusastra or its placements. It is the individual right to believe or disbelieve the science of building.
A cat may close its eyes and think that the world is dark. In a similar way, whether any body believes it or not, the science of nature shows its results. Those who believe it may reap the benefits.
This goes with the saying of Bhagawath Geetha that those who do not follow sastras may not reap the benefits of this world.
