Unhygienic spot
The MTC Broadway Bus Terminus is an important and busy point in Chennai city. But there is a lot of uncleared debris and dirty waste materials occupying the entire surrounding of the bus terminus. This is making the place unhygienic and causes great inconvenience for the passengers waiting for the bus. Many of the bus commuters speaking to the Chennai Plus reporter suggest that the Chennai Corporation officials can cleanup the place and develop a flower garden with a fence along the open unused areas in the terminus. Moreover the MTC officials can install benches near the garden so that the public can sit and wait for the buses. This will make the Broadway Bus Terminus passenger-friendly and free from all health hazards.
