While inaugurating the 10th Summer Cricket Camp of AVM-CCF at Avichi School Milka Singh the Former Test Cricketer paid tribute to Mr. AVM. K. Shanmugam Director AVM Productions (Pvt.) Ltd. who is the back bone of the AVM Cricket Academy. Milka Singh requested the trainees to put in hard work to become best cricketers. M.K. Iqbal, Director of the AVM-CCF welcomed the gathering and highlighted the tremendous contribution made by Mr. AG. Ran Singh who took eleven wickets against Mysore State in the first Ranji Trophy match played at Marina Grounds Chennai in 1935.Mr. Mathiazhagan. Member, CMDA, and former Chairman, Valasaravakkam Municipality proudly announced that he is a product of Avichi School. He expressed that more facilities should be offered to the school students so as to produce heroes in all games. Mr. Amarjit Kumar from Chandigarh Cricket Association gave special prizes to Harikrishna, Ajay & K. Karthikeyan as “outstanding cricketers” (from AVM Rajeswari School). D. Padmanabhan from Bangalore Sports Club Cricket Academy address appreciated the good work being done at AVM-CCF whose boys earning good name due to their good behaviour as well as by their good performance. Mr. Sadiq Pasha from Singaram Pillai Cricket Academy and Mr. Dave, Former TNCA umpire graced the occasion. Mr.Arun, Senior Coach gave vote of thanks.
