Preethika- The Cupcake Expert!

The Cupcake expert, Preethika is very good in making delicious cupcakes. After completing her schooling in St. Johns School and College education in Ethiraj Women’s College, Preethika finished Entertainment Business Management from Vancouver Film School. Preethika started baking a couple of months back has now turned into a successful home business.

She prepares cupcakes in five flavors, namely Vanilla, Almond, Chocolate, Strawberry and Raspberry. Her prices are reasonable. Preethika told the Chennai Plus reporter Elwyn, that her ambition is to make Cakes Allure synonymous with Cupcakes and soon have an exclusive Cupcake outlet.

Preethika further stated that her biggest achievement is making people smile when they see and say “yumm” when they eat her cupcakes. The following is an exclusive interview with Preethika.

Are You In To Charity Projects / Social
Service?

To be very honest, after school I have not done any charity or social service. Now, I’m so happy that by selling my cupcakes in fund raising shows or charity events, I am able to contribute something back to the society.

What Makes Your Cupcakes Different And Special? What Is Your Favorite?

The one comment that I keep getting from all those who have tasted – “Nothing like home-made cupcakes”. I think that feeling is what they want and it makes them come back to me again and again. Also I customize as per ones need. For example, I did Halloween cupcakes, Egyptian hieroglyphics, Corporate Logos etc where its not the usual flowers designs and that makes the cupcakes look even more alluring and interesting. I think my favorite for now is the Vanilla Cupcake with Strawberry frosting. Yumm.

Who Is Your Inspiration And Motivation Force?

I think Cupcakes are my inspiration and motivation. They make me try new things every time I Bake and I just cant get enough of them.

Is There Any Innovation You’d Like To See Made To Cupcakes?

There is no end to innovation and getting creative when it comes to baking cupcakes. I think I personally want to experiment with different flavors most people are not aware of for best results.

What Made You Start A Cupcake Business?

My mother was so happy that a person who hated entering the kitchen was baking non stop. So she came up with the idea of doing it small from home which has turned out to be the hottest property.
