KFC Says ‘VANNAKAM’ CHENNAI!’
Chennai, November 2006: KFC, the world’s largest chicken restaurant chain made it’s initial foray in the city of Chennai. The store is located in the Planet Yumm Food Court in the Ascendas Tech Park in Taramani. KFC also plans to launch its second restaurant in the city later in the month.
KFC has also adapted its menu in line with Indian preferences. There is an entire range of vegetarian products created specially for the Indian market. Indulge in unique products like the Chana Snacker, aromatic Veggie Pulao, steaming Makhani Curry, the Paneer Wrap ‘n’ Roll and the Veg Thali. The vegetarian food has customized packaging with colour coding to distinguish it and is handled by a separate crew who are distinctly identifiable by their green colour coded uniforms.
