Meet On Sex Selection And Reproductive Practices
Campaign Against Sex Selective Abortion (CASSA) organised a meet on sex selection and assisted reproductive technologies and their impact on women’s lives at ICSA, Egmore, on Dec.5.
Dr.G.Bava Fathurideen, Director of Medical and Rural Health Services, inaugurated the meet. Dr.S.Selvakumaran spoke on issues in sex selection and assisted reproductive technologies (ART) while Ms.P.Phavalam of CASSA made a micro study of ART climics. Eminent doctors, social activists and representatives of women’s organizations took part in the discussions.
