Face-Lift For Chepauk Cricket Stadium
The day and night ‘Big Match’ between India and West Indies will be starting on January 27 at M.A.Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk. In view of this event, Chepauk cricket stadium is being renovated at a cost of Rs.7 crores.
New and modernized rest rooms are being built to cater to the needs of the foreign and Indian players. The turf and the pitch are being re-laid. The Chepauk cricket grounds will be of international standard when the match starts.
