Meet On Headache Management
A conference on ‘Management of headache conventional to contemporary treatments’ was organised to discuss chronic daily headache diagnosis and preventive treatment and mechanisms of action of botulinum toxin type A (botox) in migraine and pain disorders on Jan. 8 at Life Line Multi Speciality Hospital, Perungudi.
Dr.JS.Rajkumar, Chairman, of the hospital inaugurated the meet. Dr.Jayashree Kailasam spoke on prophylactic treatment of chronic daily headache. Dr.Ninan Mathew, Director, Houston Headache Clinic, spoke on mechanisms of action of botulinum toxin type A in migraine and pain disorders, practical aspects of botulinum toxin use in headache disorders, injection demonstration session.
