Positive Energy For Prosperity
A building is not just a combination of materials alone. It is a living organ. It creates energy. Energy may be positive or negative. Positive energy will ensure prosperity. However a building cannot have hundred percent positive energy alone. The objective of ‘Vastu sastra’ is to create more positive energy in the building.
There are some people who criticize that in olden days people were not following ‘Vastu sastra’. Such people may not be aware of the fact that ‘Vastu sastra’ is the science of energy.
Positive energy in a building is received from fresh air, morning sunrays, proper water body, proper placements etc. Building plan should be made in such a manner that there will be flow of more positive energy. Apart from building plan, the material used in the building also may be responsible for creation of energy may be positive or negative.
In olden days, the environmental energy was mostly positive. There were sufficient open spaces, greenery etc around any residential building. Pollution from factories was not this much.
Further in earlier days people were using mud, clay, thatched roof etc for residential buildings. Later bricks were developed. For ordinary bricks heat energy was not required. For the process of burning the bricks heat energy in required.
Energy is required to process any material. More and more process means the requirement of energy also will be more.
The technology development has brought many building materials like cement, concrete blocks, aluminum etc. The energy required to process any material is measured in terms of ‘Joules’. The consumption may vary according to the technology of process.
Building materials like gypsum home etc require less energy for the process (1 to 13 G.J/Ton). Modern building materials like aluminium, cement, concrete blocks etc. require high quantity of energy (261 to 2500 G.J./Ton). As such modern building materials will create more heat in the building premises.
Nowadays, there is a lot of polluted air in the environment and usage of modern building materials generates a lot of heat in the building. Hence, it is all the more necessary now to follow ‘Vastu sastra’ for buildings.
More positive energy in the building will ensure prosperity and happiness.
