Interschool Tournament At Crescent School
A state level interschool tournament in football, basketball and volleyball was conducted by Crescent School, Vandalur from 8th to 11th August 2007. The tournament was inaugurated by V.N.A.Jalal, G.M. of Seethakathi Trust. Mr.N.Amarnath, former Indian basket ball team captain and G.Muthuraj international volleyball player distributed the prizes to the winners and runners-up. S.Dawood Shah, Principal and Humayun Kabir, Vice-Principal of Crescent School were present on the occasion. W.I.Davaram, former Director General of Police and President of Tamilnadu Athletic Association presided over the function.
St,Paul’s Hr. Sec. School, Salem won the basketball tournament. P.K.D Matriculation Hr.Sec.School won the volleyball tournament and YMCA College Sports Hr.Sec.School won the football tournament. About 32 teams contested in these events.
