Service Minded And An Ace Athelete
Mr.V.P.K Alagesan, a resident of Choolaimedu is a service minded individual and an ace athelete. He is the branch manager of Bank of India, Palavakkam branch. He has been working with the Bank of India for the past 35 years. He is a native of Coimbatore. He finished his school education at T.A.Ramalingam Chettair High School, Coimbatore. Mr.Alagesan is also an engineering college student of GCT, Coimbatore. He successfully started his career with the Bank of India, Cochin branch on the 15 December in the year 1972.
Speaking to Chennai Plus reporter Mr.Alagesan said that he has special interest is doing social service and helping people. Mr.Alagesan is successful and happy in life today, because he follows the policy to help people in time of difficulty and make them happy. Mr.Alagesan is very interested in reading. He is also a creative writer and a poet. He has held several important posts in various reputed associations and organizations. Mr.Alagesan was the secretary and treasurer of Leo Club of Cochin East 1976-78, secretary and treasure of Muthamil Manram Cochin 1978-79, Asst. Secretary of Bank of India staff sports club 1978, secretary of Bank of India staff co-operative society 1978-80
He was also the member of the Cochin Jaycees cultural programme organizing committee and secretary for Cochin Jaycees in the year 1980. He was also the vice-president of Trichy Jaycees from 1987-88, President of the Trichy Junior Chambers 1989-90 and E.C. Member of the Bank of India officers’ association south zone 2005-07.
Mr.V.P.K.Alagesan is an expert table tennis player and an ace athelete. He is also an award winner in many events.
