Aiming To Become World Champion
The nine year old, G.K. Monnisha, a student of Amrita Vidyalaya gave a splendid performance recently at the National ‘under -9′ Chess Championship held in Bangalore. This has given her a good place in the World Championship - 2007 Chess Tournament, which will be held in 2008 at Vietnam. Monnisha learns chess at the T.Nagar Chess Academy. Monnisha’s parents and her coach told that Monnisha’a ambition in life is to become world chess champion and bring laurels to India
