Blood Donation Camp
The students of S.C.S. Kothari Academy for Women, Kilpauk, Chennai –10 along with specialist doctors from Hindu Mission Hospital, Tambaram conducted a blood donation camp on Wednesday, the 19th December 2007 in the academy premises. Seetha Ramakrishnan, executive director of the academy was also present on the occasion.
A good number of students from S.C.S Kothari Academy actively participated, came in large numbers and donated blood at the camp, which was conducted as part of Rotaract Club. The Kilpauk neighbourhood residents also donated blood in the camp.
The S.C.S Kothari Academy for Women, a community college has been giving excellent training for vocational and skill-oriented programme for the young talented ladies of the college for many years to enable them to gain self-employment and do well in life.
