A Poet and Novelist
Priya Sarukkai Chambria is a popular and remarkable poet and novelist. She has an extraordinary poetic imagination. Priya told Chennai Plus that her first book titled ‘The other garden’ and her book on poetry collection titled ‘Dialogue and other poems’ got critical acclaim. Priya has edited the anthology 50 poems by 50 poets and she is also the editor of talking poetry South Asia website.
Priya has published poems, short stories, book reviews, essays in a number of well known journals in India and abroad. She is also involved in various multimedia projects. Priya told Chennai Plus reporter that her latest book titled ‘Generation – 14’ is about science fiction dealing in cloning and control. Priya further stated that her book on poetry collection titled “Not springtime yet” is forthcoming.
