Introduce New Bus Route
The IDPL Nandambakkam quarters residents request the MTC authorities to take effective steps to restart the bus service on route no 9A which was earlier plying between Nandambakkam and Broadway Terminus via Butt Road, Guindy Industrial Estate, K.K Nagar, Ashok Pillar, West Mambalam, Pondy Bazaar, Valluvar kottam, Chetpet Spur Tank Road, Egmore Railway Station, Central Railway Station etc. The IDPL Colony residents told the Chennai Plus reporter that the MTC needs to take steps to restart route number 9A and also introduce new bus routes from Nandambakkam to various places in the City which would be beneficial for the area residents and also for the people who come to visit the exhibitions which are regularly held at the Chennai Trade Center. Let the MTC authorities ponder over this?
