An Excellent Dance Performance By Sruthi

The Bharathanatyam Arangetram of Sruthi was held on 9.1.2011 at Sri Thiyagaraja Sangeetha Samajam ( Ranjani Sabha), Nanganallur, Chennai 61. More than 400 members including friends and relatives attended the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Dr. K. Vasudevan, Chairman, Prince Group of Institutions, Chennai said Kumari Sruthi is a talented both in Education and Bharathanatyam. He was very proud to say that he has participated in all his five students who have held Bharathanatya Arangetram earlier and wished Kumari.

Sruthi to participate in all Government and other National Level programs that bring laurels to her Parents, Dance Master Mrs. Latha Aravindan and art and culture of India. Archana Narayanamurthy , Director Pandanaullur School of Arts appreciated Ms. Sruthi for her best Performance and appreciated the hard work she has done with dedication. Mr. N. Krishnamurthy, Retired IAS in his presidential address said the co-operation of the parents was very important and appreciated the excellent Bharathanatyam performance by Ms. Sruthi and wished her to reach the peak very shortly.

Mrs. Latha Aravindan, Director, Premalaya Natyaniketan, said the Bharathanatyam Arangetram in this part of Suburban area has brought a very big crowd and Miss. Sruthi is very intelligent, interactive and sharp she could follow the rigorous training and come out successful to perform the Arangetram.

She wished her success in her Journey of Bharatha Natyam and bring credit to the institution, her parents and the Nation.

The troupe was assisted by Nattuvangam, Guru. Smt. Latha Aravindan, Vocal support by Smt. Akkarai Subhashree, Jathi, Kumari Saryu Vadararajan, Violin by Akkarai S. Murugan , Mridangam by Nellai M Hariharasudhan , Flute by C.K. Pathanjali.

Special effects was provided by C Krishna K and Compering by Mrs V Vijayalakshmi Mr. S, Narashimalu, Councilor, Alandur Municipality, V. Rama Rao Secretary, Lakshmi Nagar Civic Welfare Association and other office-bearers wished Ms. Sruthi for her excellent performance.

Mr.Krishnamurthi’s daughter Kum.Sruthi Krishnamurthy Bharathanatyam Arangetram which was held at Ranjani Hall on 9th Jan 2011 in the evening was a grand success. Sruthi is a 8th standard student of Prince Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Nanganallur.

She is learning Bharathanatyam from the age of 4. She is a budding dancer and has participated in many dance events. She is also Bala Vikas student of Mrs.Usha Sairam, Nanganallur and she is trained in vocal and veena.

Smt Latha Aravindan is a professional Bharathanatyam dance artist and serious disciple of Guru Kalaimanai Revathy Muthuswamy. Latha is the Founder Director of Premalaya Natyaniketan, a reputed dance school in Nanganallur.
