The ticket counter at the Permabur Loco works railway station is at one end, near the I.C.F. bridge. Almost all passengers cross the track to get to reach the ticket counter.
Most of the people from G.K.M Colony, Periyar Nagar, Jawahar Nagar, Agaram, S.R.P. Colony , take the same path to buy tickets. If the ticket counter is shifted near the cycle stand, it will be beneficial to passengers.
If a new booking office is opened with a separate counter for season tickets and daily tickets will be a great help. Moreover the computerized passenger reservation facility at I.C.F. can be shifted to the Perambur Loco Works Railway Station. This would benefit the I.C.F. workers as well as the public.
