Popular Hip-hop artist BlaaZe launched his debut Album titled Time for Gandhi at Citi Center on Friday 30th September 2011. The album launch function was hosted by Landmark and EMI Music. The launch function has an excellent live performance by BlaaZe singing few songs from the album. BlaaZe performed with scratch master Kave, well-known musician Paul Jacob along with folk music troups. BlaaZe is a rap artist and a popular playback singer in Indian films.
An Indian by birth, born in Chennai, he grew up in Zambia and later did his education in England and in the US. The first music album of BlaaZe, the Indian king of rap and hip-hop, was launched in a grand manner at Citi Center, Chennai. The album, which comprises of eight songs, is titled ‘Time for Gandhi.’
It is about the social evils in the society in various forms and the rapper’s take on them. The Father of the Nation is the central theme of the album and hence it has been rightly titled ‘Time for Gandhi.
