New Police Booth Opened

The City Police Commissioner J K Tripathy recently opened a Police Help Booth in Postal Audit Colony in Saligramam and appreciated the efforts of the area residents The concept of Police booths was implemented in Chennai city in order to enhance the image of Police. Police booths are of immense help to policemen in preventing and detecting crimes.

Booths at signal junctions are useful for the traffic police to regulate the vehicle movement. The city road have many police booths built at various traffic intersections. The aim of using these booths is focused to regulate the vehicle traffic movement. All the traffic booths have latest surveillance facilities. The police assistance booth is the initiative of the Chennai City Police.
